Week 7

You already know. You're just not sure.

Somewhere inside you, you already know. Breathwork is just helping you trust it.

Something starts to shift

Somewhere around this point in the practice, something starts to shift in how you make decisions. It's subtle at first. Less reaching outward for opinions. Less Googling the same question for the fourth time hoping for a different answer. Less asking everyone else what they think you should do.

Self-trust and clarity are showing up.

Self-trust comes before confidence

Confidence is what you build after you act. Clarity, courage, and self-trust are what allow you to take action. It's built the same way trust is built in any relationship, through small moments of showing up and not abandoning yourself.

The evidence you've been building
ProofEvery time you kept breathing through a difficult moment.
ProofEvery time you let something move through instead of shutting it down.
ProofEvery time you chose the honest answer over the comfortable one.

You may not have been tracking it. But ta da, there it is.

Courage is the bridge
The gap
What you know Courage What you do

Courage is not the absence of fear on the other side of that gap. It's the willingness to move anyway, because a life well lived matters more than the fear. Breathwork doesn't eliminate the gap. But it does change your relationship with it.

When your nervous system is trained to stay present with discomfort, the gap between I know and I act gets shorter. Not because the leap is smaller. Because you've practiced leaping.

You are no longer just someone who attends breathwork. You are someone who practices. Six weeks of consistent showing up says something about you. Let it say it.

Integration prompt

This week, make one decision from the inside rather than the outside. Don't Google it. Don't poll the group chat. Check in with your body first. Notice what it says. Then write: "What would courage look like in my life right now?"

Your intention this week

I am grateful that I trust myself to take the next brave step.

P.S.

We often delay action because we're waiting for a guarantee that we won't fail. But as Denzel Washington says in this short, powerful talk, if you don't fail, you're not even trying.

Watch: Don't Be Afraid to Fail Big
