You did it. Question right away: how are you feeling? In your body, right now.
The hours after your first session are quiet in an unusual way. Something is different and it's tough to put a finger on it. It's a new sensation. Your nervous system is reorganizing itself, and it doesn't file paperwork while it works.
Was your experience normal?
Nothing about what happens here is normal. "Normal" is running on autopilot, shallow breaths, managing everything, holding it together. What you did tonight was the opposite of that. But your experience, whatever it was, is common.
Whatever happened was what was ready to happen.
The afterglow is real
There's a 2–4 day window after a breathwork session where the effects and integration are still actively happening. The effects don't end when the music stops.
It's not a coincidence. That's breathwork doing its thing.
Protect the landing
Drink water. More than you think you need. Your body just did real work. Move gently. And if you feel a little raw or emotionally close to the surface: it's okay. It means something got touched that hasn't been touched in a while. You don't have to fix or analyze it. Just be gentle with yourself the way you'd be with someone you love who just went through something.
Write down 3 things you noticed in your body, your mood, or your mind since the session ended. They don't have to be profound. "My shoulders feel lower" counts. "I cried on the drive home for no reason and then felt fine" counts. "Nothing happened and I'm annoyed about it" also counts. You're building a record. It matters more later than it does right now.
I am in harmony.
